DDRC Ballia (Uttar Pradesh )
DDRC Ballia was established in the year 2000 at village, Middha, District Ballia, U.P. At present it is equipped with all types of equipments in Prosthetistic and Orthotic, Physiotherapy and Speech Therapy units. It is managed by the District Management Team headed by the District Magistrate, Ballia. Rehabilitation services are being provided to Persons with Disabilities visiting the center for their rehabilitation.
DDRC, Jhunjhunu started from 1st October, 2005 at Seva Jyoti premises at Navalgarh,Jhunjhunu. Rehabilitation services at the center are under progress.
DDRC Shimla( Himachal Pradesh)
The center is established at Indira Gandhi Medical College, Shimla and became operational w.e.f. 16th November,2002.The center is under the management of District Administration (Dy. Commissioner, Shimla) Rehabilitation services are being provided to Persons with Disabilities visiting the centre for their rehabilitation. The centre is also organizing camps at different district of Himachal Pradesh.
DDRC, Jodhpur (Rajasthan)
DDRC, Jodhpur is established at Barkatullah Stadium, Jodhpur w.e.f. March 2005 under the co ordination of by District Management Team headed by Collector, Jodhpur. The centre is providing rehabilitation services to Persons with Disabilities visiting the centre for their rehabilitation.
DDRC, Bikaner (Rajasthan)
DDRC, Bikaner is established at S.D.M. District Sattellite Hospital, Bikaner w.e.f. July 2005 under the guidance of District Management Team headed by District Collector, Bikaner. The cetnre is providing rehabilitation services to Persons with Disabilities visiting the centre for their rehabilitationi.e. Speech Therapy, Physical Therapy and Occupational therapy, aids and appliances etc.
DDRC, Ajmer (Rajasthan)
DDRC. Ajmer is under establishment at Ajmer. The services will be provided to the Persons with Disability i.e. aids and appliances, Occupational therapy, Physiotherapy treatment etc.
DDRC, Tonk (Rajasthan)
DDRC, Tonk is under establishment at District Head Quarter, Tonk w.e.f. September, 2005 under the guidance of District Administration i.e. Collector, Tonk. The services will be provided to the Persons with Disability i.e. aids and appliances, Occupational therapy, Physiotherapy treatment etc.
ASSISTANCE TO DISABLED PERSONS SCHEME (ADIP)
The main objective of the Scheme is to assist the needy disabled persons in procuring durable, sophisticated and scientifically manufactured, modern, standard aids and appliances that can promote their physical, social and psychological rehabilitation, by reducing the effects of disabilities and enhance their economic potential. The components being used to prepare aids and appliances supplied under the Scheme should be certified by ISI. The ADIP Scheme will be implemented through the implementing agency including Institute to provide with financial assistance for purchase of fabrication and distribution of such standard aids and appliances that are in conformity with objective of the Scheme. The Institute is implementing the ADIP Scheme of Govt. of India Ministry of Social Justice & Empowerment as per prescribed guidelines of the Scheme.
The person with disability visiting to the Institute are being provided aids and appliances (Tailor-made/ready made) at the recommendation of the Doctors.
Deendayal Disabled Rehabilitation Scheme (DDRS)
The Institute is assisting the Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment, Govt. of India in identification, inspection and technical evaluation of NGOs for implementing Deendayal Disabled Rehabilitation Scheme (DDRS)- formerly known as the scheme to Promote Voluntary Action for Persons with Disabilities. The objective of the scheme is to promote voluntary action for welfare of Persons with Disabilities in areas like education, vocational training, community based rehabilitation, etc.
Technical Evaluation of Voluntary Organisation.
The scheme to promote voluntary action for persons with disabilities simplifies and facilitates procedure for easy access to Govt. support for NGOs with the aim to widen the scope and range of services.
This Institute also provides technical support in assessing the infrastructure available with NGOs in the disability sector. It submits a technical evaluation report to the Ministry to help in making a decision for the sanction and release of grants under the ADIP scheme and Umbrella scheme to the NGOs
