Satellite Center Nilokheri is an extension unit of PDUNIPPD, New Delhi under the Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment GOI, established in March 2016.
The Satellite Center Nilokheri aims to serve the physically disabled of all age groups. In the pursuit of alleviating the suffering of disabled people the Satellite Center Nilokheri providing following services –
- Out patients clinical services in Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy and Speech Therapy, Social, Psychological and Vocational Counseling Services to the persons with disabilities.
- Workshop for the fabrication of Orthotic and Prosthetic appliances including calipers, splints, artificial limbs, surgical boots and customized wooden furniture for the persons with different types of locomotors impairments.
- Out-reach camps for the economically weaker disabled persons, living in the far-flung and remote areas, with the help of concerned district administration and locally active non-governmental organizations.
- Satellite Center Nilokheri Provide all services at nominal charges i.e. Rs. 5 for New Registration Charges and Rs .50/- Monthly charges.
